  11. The current licensing arrangement is unacceptable -- enough to make us not use
  12. MacApp.  The alternative you propose seems okay -- all arrangements should be
  13. between us and Apple, without requiring direct agreements between Apple and our
  14. dealers or distributers.  I must say, however, that if the purpose of MacApp is
  15. to encourage developers to create lots of good apps -- why put up any barriers
  16. (in the form of requring a copyright notice) to its use?  How different is
  17. MacApp from, say, the ROM Toolbox, in apple's strategy?
